Chro-NOS とは何ですか？What is Chro-NOS?

CLIP STUDIO PAINT（以下 CSP）で .clip ファイルを保存するたびに、自動で履歴を記録するデスクトップアプリです。「上書き保存で過去の状態が消えてしまう」を防ぐためのツールです。Windows / macOS で動きます。 A desktop app that automatically records a history of your .clip files every time you save in CLIP STUDIO PAINT (CSP). It exists to prevent the past state of your work from being lost to overwrite saves. Runs on Windows and macOS.

個人で作っているのですか？Is this a solo project?

はい。絵を描く個人が、自分の制作で困っていた問題を解決するために作り始めたアプリです。同じ悩みを持つ方に使っていただけたら嬉しいです。チームや会社が後ろに付いているわけではないので、開発スピードや対応範囲には限界があることをご理解いただけると幸いです。 Yes. This app was started by a solo illustrator to solve a problem they had with their own work. We hope it helps others with the same frustration. Please understand that as a one-person project, there are limits to how fast we can develop and how much we can support.

CLIP STUDIO PAINT を作っているセルシスさんと関係はありますか？Is this related to Celsys, the makers of CLIP STUDIO PAINT?

直接の関係はありません。 Chro-NOS は CSP の外側で .clip ファイルを監視するだけの、独立した第三者の外部ツールです。CSP 本体の動作には一切干渉しません。セルシス株式会社からの公認や提携を受けているものではありません。 No — there is no direct relationship. Chro-NOS is an independent third-party tool that watches .clip files from outside CSP. It does not modify or interfere with CSP in any way. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Celsys.

PSD ファイルや Procreate には対応していますか？Does it support PSD or Procreate?

現在は CLIP STUDIO PAINT の .clip ファイル専用です。PSD（Photoshop）や Procreate など、他のアプリ・他のファイル形式には現在のところ対応していません。今後の対応については検討中で、PSD については将来的に対応したいと考えています。 Currently, only CLIP STUDIO PAINT .clip files are supported. PSD (Photoshop), Procreate, and other formats / apps are not supported at this time. We're considering future support — PSD is something we'd like to work toward.

動作する OS は？Which OS does it run on?

Windows 10 / 11 と macOS 12 以降に対応しています。Linux 版はありません。iPad 版は今後の予定として、CLIP STUDIO PAINT for iPad でメイン制作される方が PC 版と同じように使える形を目指して開発を予定しています。 Windows 10 / 11 and macOS 12 or later. There is no Linux version. We're planning an iPad version aimed at artists who use CLIP STUDIO PAINT for iPad as their main creative tool, providing the same experience as the desktop version.

ファイルが消えた場合、復元してもらえますか？If a file disappears, can you recover it for me?

このアプリではファイル復旧の保証はしていません。 Chro-NOS は履歴を残す手助けをするツールであって、データの完全な復旧を約束するものではありません。アプリ自体に不具合があったり、ハードディスクが壊れたり、その他の理由でデータが取り出せなくなる可能性は常にあります。

重要な .clip ファイルは、Chro-NOS とは別に必ずバックアップ（クラウドや外付けドライブなど）を取ってください。 We do not guarantee file recovery. Chro-NOS is a tool that helps you keep a history — it is not a promise of full data recovery. Bugs, hardware failure, or other unforeseen circumstances can always make data unrecoverable.

Please keep separate backups (cloud storage, external drive, etc.) of important .clip files outside Chro-NOS.

万が一データが消えたり壊れたりしたら、責任を取ってもらえますか？If my data is lost or corrupted, will you take responsibility?

このアプリの利用によってデータの損失や被害が発生しても、私（COHI Studio）は責任を負いかねます。 個人開発の β 版アプリとしてご理解いただければと思います。詳しくは 利用規約 をご覧ください。

このアプリを使うかどうかは、ご自身の判断と責任でお願いします。 I (COHI Studio) cannot take responsibility for any data loss or damage arising from use of this app. Please understand this as a beta version of a solo-developed app. See the Terms of Service for details.

私のデータは外部に送られますか？Is my data sent anywhere?

.clip ファイルの中身や履歴データは、外部に送信されません。すべてあなたのパソコン内に保存されます。

利用統計データのみ、初期 ON の状態で匿名化された形で送信されます。初回起動時の確認画面、または設定画面から、いつでもオフに切り替えていただけます。送信される情報には個人を特定する内容は含まれず、アプリの改善のために使われます。詳しくは プライバシーポリシー をご覧ください。 Your .clip contents and history data are never sent externally. Everything stays on your computer.

Only usage analytics — default ON and sent anonymously — go out. You can switch them off at the first-launch confirmation, or any time in settings. No personally identifiable information is included, and the data is used to improve the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.

ソースコードは公開されていますか？Is the source code public?

配布しているソフトウェアは MIT ライセンスで提供していますが、ソースコード自体は現在公開していません。 いずれ公開する可能性はありますが、現時点では「アプリの本体（実行ファイル）を配布しているだけ」とご理解ください。 The distributed software is licensed under MIT, but the source code itself is currently not published. We may publish it someday, but for now, please understand that we're only distributing the application binary.

アプリを別の名前で配布したり、改変版を売ったりしてもいいですか？Can I redistribute it under a different name, or sell a modified version?

配布物は MIT ライセンスなので、ライセンス条項を満たした上での複製・改変・再配布自体は MIT 上は許諾されています。

その上で、個人開発者からのお願いとして、ソースコードの逆解析、無断での丸ごと複製、転売、名前を変えての再配布などはお控えいただけると助かります。要は「パクらないでね」ということです。個人で頑張って作っているアプリなので、ご理解いただけると嬉しいです。 The distribution is under MIT license, so copying, modifying, and redistributing under MIT terms is permitted by the license itself.

That said, as a request from a solo developer: please refrain from reverse-engineering the source, wholesale copying, reselling, or rebranded redistribution. In short — please don't rip it off. This is a solo-developed labor of love, and your understanding is appreciated.

有料になりますか？Will it become paid?

β 版は完全に無料です。ただし、頑張って作ったアプリなので、いずれ有料化したいとは考えています。タイミングや金額が決まり次第お知らせします。

具体的な形はまだ決まっていませんが、β 版でいま使ってくださっている皆さまには、その時にできるだけ良い形でご恩返しできるよう考えるつもりです。 The beta version is completely free. That said, we put a lot of work into this app and would like to charge for it someday. We'll announce when pricing is decided.

The specifics aren't decided yet, but for everyone using the beta now, we'll do our best to thank you when that time comes.

GitHub の chronos_public リポジトリは何ですか？What is the chronos_public repository on GitHub?

アプリのインストーラ（.exe / .dmg）を置くための場所です。技術者でなければ特に見る必要はありません。ダウンロードはこのページ（公式サイト）からどうぞ。 It's just a place to host the installers (.exe / .dmg). Unless you're a developer, you don't need to look at it. Please download from this site instead.

SmartScreen の警告が出ますI see a SmartScreen warning

Chro-NOS は Windows のコード署名に対応していないため、初回起動時に Windows SmartScreen が警告を出すことがあります。「詳細情報 → 実行」を押せば続行できます。詳しい手順は 使い方ガイド をご覧ください。 Chro-NOS is not Windows code-signed, so SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch. Click "More info → Run" to continue. See the Guide for the full steps.

macOS で「開発元を確認できない」エラーが出ますmacOS says "developer cannot be verified"

Chro-NOS は Apple 公証に対応していないため、初回起動時のみ .app を 右クリック → 開く で起動してください。2 回目以降はダブルクリックで OK です。詳しい手順は 使い方ガイド をご覧ください。 Chro-NOS is not Apple-notarized. On first launch, please right-click the .app and choose "Open". After that, double-click works as usual. See the Guide for details.

アプリ内のサイドバー「ヘルプ」タブから、カテゴリ（バグ / 機能要望 / その他）を選んで匿名で送信できます。
